I've identified a lack of thrift stores in Lorraine back in France in 2022, so in partnership with several local actors especially with a group from the social and solidarity economy, we've started a study and later a project to collect used sports goods to prepare them for sale. I've created the visual identity and define the communication strategy, before designing the customer and donor experience in-store, and it worked! People started to love the concept, started to come back regurarly and we needed to hire people: so we chose to hire people far from employment to help us. Again the assumption was great, they did great and we get money from calls for projects and partners to stabilize the business model. Also, Decathlon soon joined the dance as a big contributor for equipment. Today, the store still exists in Metz and still hire more and more employees. I reckon now it should not diversify too much in terms of goods to not loose the customers but long live La Recyclerie du Sport Lorraine! https://recycleriedusportlorraine.fr
